We maintain a database of about 1800 members. If we have a valid email address for you, you should receive a couple email notices to announce each meeting. If you haven’t been getting the notices, it’s likely we don’t have a working email address for you or maybe our announcements are being filtered into your spam or junk folder.
Several members have complained that our emails are ending up in their spam or junk folders. To prevent this happening to you, consider creating a filter. In Gmail,
- Click the gear icon and select “See all settings” from the Quick settings menu.
- Navigate to “Filters and Blocked Addresses” in the top menu.
- Select “Create a new filter”
- Add in the “from” field. Click create filter.
- Check “Never send it to Spam” in the checkbox.
- Click Create Filter.
Other email clients likely have a similar process. It may also help if you add to your contacts in your email program.
